Inspiration: Ad Campaign by Young & Rubicam

Ad Campaign for European Surfrider Foundation
Advertising agency Young & Rubicam
Photography by Ben Stockley

"In the sea there's no such thing as a little bit of rubbish"

European Surfrider Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to defending, saving, improving and managing a sustainable ocean. The ad is beautiful and surreal. I think it perfectly illustrates how long it takes garbage to break down in our environment. It also brings to mind the Pacific garbage patch that is exceeds the size of Texas...

Inspiration: Baptiste Debombourg

Aggravure by Baptiste Debombourg

French artist Baptiste Debombourg creates epic art work by using only staples. The result is amazing to behold.

More information:
Number 1 of the Serie : " Air Force One"
Number 2 : " Air Force Two "
The protagonist Icarus, the Mannerism of the Renaissance and the symbol of sublime power Air. Force One -the plane of the American President- are the main points in this work.
The combination of pathos, beauty and unnatural movement of Italian Mannerists concealing some aggression.
Is it why this “Superman” flies straight down towards the earth? Here it's used the tacker as a material and media, which plays with the contemporary agression and the profanized utility of the everyday life.
(inspired by Hendrik Goltzius by Cornelisz van Haarlem drawings, second visual by unknown mannerism Artist)
